My journey into coaching…

I recently got asked, “How did I get into coaching?” … and it’s really got me reflecting over the last 10 years and the evolution to where I am now.

Where I am today has been a process and evolution. Over the last 10 years, I’ve trained as a tennis coach, went to business school, stumbled into startups, founded multiple companies, travelled around the world, discovered enlightenment, reinvented myself more than a few times and experienced so many different things that influenced where I am today.

Becoming a coach has naturally evolved. If you’d told this version of me ten years ago this is where I’d be… there’d be a lot of confusion, is that really a job? how? you can move energy? we’re psychic?(… it would also explain a lot to my empathic younger self). However, there was beauty in not knowing, of letting things work themselves out as they should.

I was fortunate along the way to be surrounded by incredible teachers, mentors and coaches, who’ve supported me in their own ways. This wasn’t just in the usual places like school and coaching sessions, these wonderful people appeared in many unconventional ways, at just the right time.

London became the backdrop for some life-changing chapters. It sparked the beginning of my entrepreneurial journey. The dynamic, flowing, vibrant energy was incredible. Being surrounded by that creative buzz and the spirit of making things happen, I felt such a strong pull to dive into startups and create my own business.

The startup scene in London was a playground of possibilities, being surrounded by so many different types of businesses, people and ideas was so thrilling. Meeting inspiring individuals, and attending events most days, was a journey of self-discovery in itself.

I found myself drawn to events that celebrated innovation, technology, and positive change initiatives. Exploring and playing with ideas of how connection could positively impact the world, I started my first business WE.events LTD.

As I delved deeper into running events and meeting incredible founders, my next venture was born, We Do Ops LTD. Empowering my fellow entrepreneurs to grow and scale with operational support. Witnessing the transformational impact it had on their growth, it became clear my passion extended way beyond my own personal ventures. My passion and purpose were rooted in nurturing and supporting the dreams of others.

However, my excessive pursuit of growth and entrepreneurship came with a price. The weight of constant giving was draining and left me experiencing massive burnout. Unknown to me, I was empathing others' energy, absorbing their emotions, and neglecting my self-care.

It was time for a big change and I was ready for a radical shift. I delved deep into inner work, seeking ways to restore balance and well-being. The journey led me to travel to Australia, where I immersed myself in practices such as yoga, energy work, and spiritual training. These practices not only nurtured my body but also opened pathways to connect with my inner wisdom and intuition.

As my journey unfolded, I experienced a profound awakening that led me to activate my intuition and delve into a deeper understanding of myself. It was during this phase that I learned the crucial importance of work-life balance and the interconnected relationship between the two, a concept that forms so much of my work and teachings now.

Through this awakening, I began to understand the profound impact of energy and boundaries on our lives. I learned the art of energy clearing, releasing stagnant energy, and embracing healthy boundaries. These newfound skills, which I now use daily, not only replenished my own energy but also became invaluable tools to guide others in their personal growth and transformation.

As my understanding of self deepened, I recognised the interconnectedness between work and personal life. I saw how nurturing one aspect fed into the other. Today, I impart this understanding to others, through my work and especially in my Accelerate membership, which is based on work and life flow, balance and sustainable growth.

My journey of awakening was really challenging, but looking back extremely rewarding. It served as a catalyst for my mission to empower others, to support them to embrace their intuition, find balance, and embark on transformative inner journeys of their own.

Returning to the UK felt like a fresh start, an opportunity to set intentions and connect with my deeper purpose. However, I faced a profound dark night of the soul. I’d found all of this goodness elsewhere, but integrating it into what I’d known my whole life was hard. I was confronted with many difficult emotions and I had to get really good at inner work practices and finding the strength within. Pushing myself to persevere and discover new depths of my being.

During this period, I delved into various energy work practices, unlocking layers of wisdom and intuition I never knew existed within me. I questioned my path and aspirations, seeking clarity on my true desires. I kept asking myself the question, “If I had £100m and money was no concern, what would I be doing?” I’d meditated often on this and see myself coaching, healing and supporting incredible people and this became a guiding light.

As lockdown hit and business activities dwindled, I took a leap of faith and made healing and development my full-time pursuit. I immersed myself in various healing modalities, becoming a Reiki Master, delving into Theta Healing, NLP training, energy practices, and meditations. Journeys to sacred places like Glastonbury further deepened my connection with my purpose.

I remember starting my practice, I challenged myself to work with 10 people to test whether this was doable or not. I let go of the outcome and just focused on offering sessions. By the eighth client, my practice was thriving, people were paying me well by donation and I was so driven and inspired by my passion to support others on their paths to healing and growth. The first year of building my energy healing practice was a time of intensive research, preparation, and practice that laid the strong foundations for my current work.

As my abilities and confidence as a coach and energy healer grew, I transitioned from offering one-off sessions to crafting comprehensive packages that delivered even better results for my clients. This period was a time of experimentation, where I discovered the types of people I enjoyed working with and honed my skills in creating transformative experiences.

I delved into the realm of program development, curating offers and programmes that resonated with my purpose and aligned with the needs of my clients. "Create Your New Normal," a manifestation and healing programme, "Energise into Success," "222," "Take Off," and 1:1 programmes like "Transform" were among the transformative offerings I developed.

In early 2022, a significant milestone arrived as I launched Source Oneness LTD, embarking on a new business chapter. With intuition as my guide, I embraced the flow of feminine energy, trusting my inner wisdom to lead my business intuitively.

Building a brand and expanding my network of like-minded and intuitive individuals became paramount. As I continued my personal development journey, I stumbled upon Practical Magic, a transformative blend of self-development practices and modern spirituality. This discovery resonated deeply with my journey, encapsulating the essence of my experiences and providing exceptional results for my clients.

Ultimately, my path led me to certify as Practical Magic Coach & Facilitator. As I continued to evolve, I found myself aligned with my purpose, embracing intuition, and tapping into the realm of practical magic to empower others on their paths of growth and awakening. This journey of growth through experimentation solidified my belief in the profound power of embracing one's true self, finding alignment, and igniting inner wisdom for personal and collective transformation.

From a really challenging journey to where I am today, I have witnessed the transformational impact of coaching unfold before my very eyes. Through the creation of my coaching and healing practice, I have found my true calling in the joy of a career that aligns with my passion and purpose. Honestly, I have the best job and it just keeps getting better and better!

Building this practice has allowed me to flow effortlessly and in alignment with my deepest desires. I find immense fulfilment in helping others cultivate more balanced and fulfilled lives. Witnessing clients shift, heal, grow, manifest what they once believed wasn’t possible and overcome challenges. It’s deeply rewarding and constantly inspires me to push further, to do more and see what’s possible.

Working one-on-one with clients has been an incredibly enriching experience, allowing me to form genuine connections and facilitate profound growth and healing. Additionally, I am developing a membership community, Accelerate, which serves as a platform for collective growth and collaboration with incredible practitioners. Building this community has fostered an environment of support, inspiration, and continuous learning.

Each success story shared by the people I have helped motivates and inspires me to continue pushing the boundaries of what is possible. I cherish the sense of community that has blossomed around my practice, bringing together wonderful individuals on a shared journey of transformation and growth. As I reflect on the impact of this work, I am filled with gratitude. It’s such an honour to witness and be part of these powerful changes that bring so much goodness into people’s lives and the world.

I am filled with gratitude for this journey. The question, "How did I get into coaching?" has allowed me to revisit the milestones, challenges, and growth that have shaped my path. Looking back at all the things that seemed unrelated but now with hindsight, deeply interconnected.

As I contemplate the future, I am brimming with excitement and wonder. I look forward to the day, ten years from now when someone asks me how I built such a successful company. I envision the delight and astonishment as I reminisce on the extraordinary experiences and accomplishments that lie ahead. It is a journey of curiosity and surprises, where every step forward holds the potential for magic and greatness.

For now, I embrace the beauty of the unknown, letting life unfold and trusting that everything will align as it should. I am open to possibilities, ready to face new challenges, and eager to create more beauty and impact in the world.

In this moment of reflection and anticipation, I am reminded of the immense power of following one's heart, embarking on a journey of purpose and passion. It is through embracing the unknown and allowing life to work its magic that we can create the most extraordinary and fulfilling experiences. As I move forward, I carry with me the gratitude for the past, the excitement for the future, and the deep knowing that every step I take is guided by the innate wisdom within.
